vintage airplanes in responsive HTML5

Hawker Hurricane

Reliable and easy to fix, this charming little scrapper may not have been as fast as other planes, but it could take heaps of punishment and still get you home in one piece. View Gallery

Supermarine Spitfire

Fast, agile and responsive from the first, this nimble interceptor continued improving its performance throughout World War 2 and well into the 1950s. View Gallery

North American Mitchell

Completely at odds with the lumbering, utilitarian image of a bomber, this sleek airplane served in almost every theatre of the war and fulfilled almost as many different roles. View Gallery

Two Birds, One Site

I needed a refresher on responsive HTML5, had all these vintage airplane pictures laying around and thought it would be a shame to waste the effort. The site is just an exercise and will be pretty bare at first, but I have many pictures to post and different scripts I want to try out, so check back every now and again.

The site is based on the tutorial by Christoph Anastasiades from Lingulo.com.
